The Arlington Heights Farmer’s Market Is Back!

The Arlington Heights Farmers Market has officially returned for its 2026 season, running every Saturday morning at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum. Here is a drafted blog post highlighting its recent record-breaking opening day and what visitors can expect this year.

A Record-Breaking Opening Day

The 2026 season kicked off on Saturday, May 9, with an unprecedented level of community support. The open-air market drew a record-breaking crowd of 4,692 attendees to the grounds of the Arlington Heights Historical Museum according to officials. This massive turnout easily surpassed last year’s average of 3,000 Saturday visitors, proving that the village is more eager than ever to support local agriculture and small businesses.

What to Expect This Season

Located at the corner of Vail and Fremont Street, the market runs every Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm through the fall. Visitors can shop for fresh produce and hot food while enjoying live music and community events. Fan-favorite vendors have returned for 2026, including Flara Bakery, Curious Crow, and The Ice Cream Girl. Families can also take advantage of the Little Sprouts Corner for kid-friendly crafts, morning story times, and visits from the Arlington Heights Memorial Library Bookmobile.

Supporting Local History

The farmers market is managed by the Arlington Heights Historical Society, which uses the event to connect residents to the village’s past. All donations and proceeds generated by the market directly support the preservation of collections, educational programs, and exhibits at the downtown museum campus.

Upcoming Special Events

Beyond the regular Saturday markets, the organization remains highly active in local community celebrations. The Arlington Heights Farmers Market will proudly participate in the village’s Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, 2026.
